I am saddened by the passing of a remarkable woman, an icon of democracy not only here in the Philippines but also the whole world. She has exemplified a great deal of leadership that i think makes her the most loved president ever graced in the history of the nation.

I took a chance of paying respect on the first public viewing of her wake in the De La Salle Greenhills stadium last Saturday evening. The line was long, took an hour till we had a chance to see her. As of today, lines are even longer and takes about 3-4 hours til you get to pay your respect.

I also was able to watch Kris' (the late president's daughter) story on tv during their ordeal from the time Tita Cory was hospitalized up until the wake. I personally don't like Kris at all but her emotions got me so overwhelmed, i also started to get teary eyed.

I hope that Tita Cory is already at peace wherever she is now, happy with Ninoy. Thank you Madame President for being such an inspiration to many. Your legacy will continue on with us.
